BTS Business Photoshoot for Wels Care

After seeing how other medical facilities were excelling in their digital presence with original photography, Wels Care, a medical facility based at St. Mark’s Hospital in Millcreek, Utah, decided it was time to update their own. They specialize in wound care, both in-office and through at-home visits, and they knew that showing their real team and spaces would help patients feel more comfortable and connected right from the start.

For a long time, their website only featured stock images, but they realized how much more trust and recognition they could build by sharing photos of their actual staff in their branded scrubs and their real treatment spaces. They wanted potential patients to see their friendly, professional team and be able to recognize the clinic when they came in for an appointment.

We divided the shoot into two parts to tell the full story of how they care for patients. We started at a model home to show what an at-home wound care visit looks like, capturing every step of the process. Then we moved to their clinic inside St. Mark’s Hospital to get images of their patient rooms, staff interactions, and some of the unique, proprietary wound care methods they’ve developed. These special techniques are even part of a training course they offer, so having clear, professional visuals for those was really important too.

Now, Wels Care has a whole library of authentic, original images they can use on their website, social media, YouTube thumbnails, and training materials. It’s amazing how much of a difference real photography can make when it comes to building trust with patients, and I’m so glad I got to help them take this big step forward in showing who they really are and what they do best.
