BTS Business Photoshoot for Abby's Aesthetics

Abby’s Aesthetics, a skincare studio based in Orem, Utah, wanted a set of photos that really captured who she is; a warm, genuine personality that makes her clients feel right at home. For her, it was important that the photos look and feel like the real experience her clients have when they walk through her door.

One thing that makes Abby’s practice stand out is her Buccal Massage, which is actually pretty rare to find in Utah. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s a specialized intraoral facial massage that works the muscles inside the cheeks and jaw. It’s amazing for releasing deep tension (think jaw clenching and TMJ), boosting circulation, encouraging lymphatic drainage, and giving the face a naturally lifted, toned look. It’s one of those treatments that clients don’t always know about until they see it in action, so getting good visuals for this was a must.

We also made sure to photograph the full range of treatments she offers, like facial cupping, brow waxing and tinting, lash curling and tinting, plus all the products and tools she swears by. Abby really wanted to give her audience a peek at the brands she uses so they know exactly what to expect. Instead of bringing in my usual off-camera flash setup, we kept things simple and shot entirely with her esthetician lamp. Her treatment room is quite cozy, so working with her existing light kept the vibe super true to life.

Abby is so passionate about what she does, and her clients absolutely love her for it. These images are going to help her connect with new clients who care about feeling comfortable and trusting the person they book with, especially for something as personal as skincare and Buccal Massage. She’ll be using this new content for her website and Instagram, where most of her clients find her. I’m excited to see how this helps her keep growing and reaching the kind of clients she loves working with most!
