I recently did a behind-the-scenes branding session with Diana Elizabeth Beauty, a talented wedding hair and makeup artist based right here in Utah. Diana usually works onsite at weddings or right in her kitchen, but for this shoot, she wanted a fresh, polished look, so we headed to a beautiful photo studio in American Fork, Utah.

She brought along a model she met at another bridal party (love when connections come full circle!) and together they packed multiple outfit options to choose from. We styled looks right there in the studio and made sure every detail felt true to Diana’s brand. I brought in my studio lights so we’d have crisp, professional images no matter the natural light, and we were able to capture two different outfit sets in a fun two-hour session.

One thing Diana shared in her pre-shoot questionnaire was how much she prides herself on standing out from other artists by being incredibly personable and making the wedding prep process feel fun and stress-free. So we focused on lots of candid moments (laughing, chatting, and real interactions with her model) to capture that warm, welcoming vibe she’s known for.

She’s so excited to give her brand a facelift and start showing her face more often so future brides can feel like they already know her before she shows up on their big day. I love when a session is not only beautiful but genuinely tells the story behind the business and Diana’s is all about connection, fun, and helping brides feel amazing.

Kind words from this client:

Emily was a dream to work with! She communicated well with me before the shoot, sending inspo and a detailed plan for the shoot and was also very open to any inspo or ideas I had as well. She was determined to capture the essence of my brand and was calm and confident and we felt so comfortable around her. I love the way my photos turned out, I would recommend Emily to anyone, especially someone wanting an upgrade on their business photos!

Below are some highlights from the shoot. You can also view the full collection I sent Diana to have a better idea of what a final gallery looks like.
