Instead of a polished branding session for FaceClub Esthetics, we now wanted to capture what it really looks and feels like to get a facial with Jenna, including all the little details, her tools, her products, and, of course, her passion for what she does.
She invited me out to her studio in Pleasant Grove, Utah, and it was such a fun coincidence that the model she brought in is actually someone I went to high school with. Small world, right? Her treatment room has this amazing, moody vibe that worked so well for a BTS shoot. The space was big enough for me to bring my Godox off-camera flash, so we played around with a few more cinematic, dramatic shots of Jenna at work.
But for most of the session, we actually leaned into the natural ambiance and used her esthetician lamp as our main light source. It gave the photos a really authentic feel, so you can get a real sense of what it’s like to lie on her bed for a facial. We focused on capturing her signature tools, the skincare products she swears by, and those little moments where you can really see how much she loves what she does.
These kinds of images are so valuable for any service-based business because they help potential clients connect with you before they ever book an appointment. Jenna’s clients trust her because she’s so good at what she does and truly cares about helping people feel their best.
Kind words from this client:
"Emily didn't just take beautiful photos, she captured the exact energy and vibe of my space. Every corner of my studio felt elevated through her lens, and the way she highlighted the moody, modern details of my brand blew me away!"
